Charleston & Jive WORKSHOP - Thursday 27th August

Get ready for a fun evening filled with Charleston swivels and Jive!

We’ll begin with beginner-friendly Charleston, building it from the ground up so that everyone can join in. We’ll then turn up the pace with an improver Charleston session, adding more movement, character and a few extra challenges. A chance to perfect those swivels!

To finish the evening, we’ll switch to Jive and learn a fun move - with the possibility of adding a small optional little aerial move for anyone who feels confident and wants to give it a try!

Admission: £15 per couple - class vouchers can be used as normal

Schedule

7:30pm – Beginner Charleston
Start with the foundations and learn a lively Charleston sequence that everyone can enjoy.

8:00pm – Improver Charleston
Build on the basics with more movement, styling and an extra challenge or two.

8:45pm – Jive Finale
Finish the evening with an exciting Jive move and perhaps a small optional aerial to give it a real wow factor!

9:30pm – Finish

Come for the whole evening or join in with the sections that suit you. It’s a great opportunity to try something new, sharpen up your Charleston and add a new move to your Jive.

No Charleston experience is needed for the beginner session. Some general dance experience will be helpful for the improver section and Jive finale.

Aerial participation will be entirely optional
